Supporting future talent with advanced tools

It’s important to atNorth that we support the communities in which we operate. Last Friday, atNorth’s team, led by Árni Björnsson, Operations Manager of our Akureyri ICE03 data center, was proud to present a cutting-edge control board to the Vocational College of Akureyri (VMA) electrical engineering program. This equipment will be instrumental in teaching Logic Circuits to fifth-semester students.

Árni Björnsson emphasized the importance of this support: We wanted to provide the VMA College with equipment used in the business world today. It is very important to us that good technical education is available in the area, and with this gift, we can contribute to that.”

A special thanks to Sigríður Huld Jónsdóttir, headmaster of VMA, and Haukur Eiríksson, head of the electrical engineering program, for the warm reception. This collaboration highlights the mutual benefits of connecting education with industry.
