Experienced Site Manager to atNorth's new data center in Stockholm

Jul 13, 2021

atNorth, the new high-performance co-location provider in Sweden that will open its data center later this year, has hired Per Lähdet as Site Manager. Per has extensive experience from the data center industry where he has held similar positions at Interxion, Amazon Web Services, and most recently Digiplex.

  • Per is probably one of the most experienced people in the country when it comes to developing and operating co-location facilities, which gives us and our customers enormous confidence in delivering high-quality services, NN comments on atNorth.

The Stockholm SWE01 data center: SIF DC is now under construction, and as previously announced, the facility will be inaugurated towards the end of this year. With a capacity of 40 kW per rack for air-cooled IT equipment, both cost-effectiveness and high performance can be combined for companies and organizations with large volumes of high-density data.

Per will be responsible for all operations and security in the new data center.

  • The opportunities to be involved and build something entirely new and challenge the industry with new solutions attracted me to atNorth. The data center community has talked for a long time about the need for high-capacity services and atNorth's investment is proof that this is now becoming a reality, comments Per Lähdet.

Per will start his new position with atNorth after the summer.
