atNorth, the new high-performance colocation provider in Sweden that will open its data center later this year, has appointed Stefan Jofors-aTribe to lead the company’s establishment in the Nordic region in the role as Sales Director. Stefan has solid experience in the industry that includes positions at Interxion and Uptime Institute. The focus of atNorth’s Nordic expansion is to deliver high-performance colocation for high volumes of demanding data.

atNorth, has successfully delivered a state-of-the-art AI & Deep Learning system to Icelandic start-up Miðeind. The Supercomputer - built on HPE servers and powered by the latest generation of nVidia Graphic Processor Units (A100) - is hosted in atNorth’s Mjölnir Colocation Data Center facilities in the Reykjanesbær area in Iceland.

atNorth is proud to announce an expansion of its ICE02, Mjölnir data center campus. Only 5 minutes away from Keflavik International Airport, atNorth has now commenced construction of the eleventh building to the campus, increasing floorspace by another 1250m3.
