atNorth is at the forefront of innovating high-performance computing solutions using 100% renewable energy and circular economy principles from their data center locations in Iceland and Sweden.
In his role as Sales Director, Michael Endres will be accelerating the momentum already being achieved in the Nordics by launching atNorth and their sustainable, cost efficient data center solutions to the DACH region.
“Michael has extensive sales and business development experience at a high level in our industry and has worked successfully on solutions for globally leading organizations in prior roles,” says Gísli Kr. Chief Commercial Officer, atNorth. “His specialist knowledge of the region and the industry as whole will play an integral role in atNorth´s rapid expansion in the Nordic region and how we showcase the company’s customer focused approach to European organizations, specifically in the DACH regions. A sales professional with 25 years’ experience in the technology industry, the last seven specifically in the data center sector, Michael is a specialist in High-Performance Computing, Colocation and Sustainability. He has first-hand experience of launching new services and opening up new business opportunities in the German speaking market. He worked on the launch of Vodafone’s Cloud and Hosting Service, specialized in the Automotive sector during his time at Equinix, and most recently was the Sales Director DACH at Bulk DC Infrastructure AS.

This key appointment comes at a pivotal time in atNorth’s growth as the company has also announced the appointment of Stephen Donovan to the role of Chief Development Officer. In his role, Stephen Donovan will focus on site selection, design and delivery of new data center sites across the Nordics and the rest of Europe, as well as the expansion of the existing atNorth facilities in Iceland and Sweden.
