atNorth, a leading high-performance colocation provider, has today announced the appointment of industry veteran Peter Gross to its board of directors, as the company continues to accelerate its transformational journey.

Peter Gross has more than 30 years’ of experience in the engineering and design of power systems in data centers, and is highly regarded as a thought leader in the mission-critical information, communication and infrastructure design realm.

Peter co-founded EYP Mission Critical Facilities in 1997, which he built from the ground up to become the premier consulting and engineering firm dedicated to the design and operations of data centers globally. Today, Peter is engaged in a number of board roles as chairman and non executive director across the data center and power industries, and is a Registered Professional Engineer in the US. He is also a Senior IEEE Member and part of (i) the Advisory Board of UCLA’s Institute of Environment and Sustainability and (ii) Southern Methodist University’s Data Center System Engineering Board of Advisors.
