Fredrik Jansson, Chief Strategy and Marketing Officer at atNorth, highlighted the growing importance of tackling digital carbon footprints: “2025 will be the year corporate sustainability reporting forces organizations to address their digital carbon footprints. Regulations like the EU’s CSRD and Energy Efficiency Directive will require mandatory disclosures, influencing client and investor decisions. Dave Clee, CEO of MirrorWeb, emphasized the opportunities and challenges of AI, particularly when it comes to large language models: “One major concern with relying on large language models, like ChatGPT, is the lack of insight into the entire decision-making process. This uncertainty makes it difficult to ensure that the outputs meet regulatory requirements and compliance standards.”

Brigitte West, Product Director at DrDoctor, spoke about the impact of AI in healthcare:
“There’s no one-size-fits-all approach to AI. The most effective AI solutions are targeted, built with purpose, and applied where they can solve real-world problems. AI can improve operational efficiencies, but it’s essential to implement it strategically and scale it correctly.”
